DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) is a comprehensive program offering individual therapy, telephone consultation and a DBT skills group.  The focus of DBT is to improve the quality of one’s life and to decrease destructive behaviors that have been causing a variety of problems that may include self-harm, significant suicidal thinking, extreme mood swings, substance abuse, relationship turmoil, etc..

DBT’s focus on core mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation and distress tolerance are integral in helping to alleviate many of life’s complex and enduring problems.  I was intensively trained in DBT in 1999/2000 and continue to participate in DBT advanced learning.  Contact me for more information on individual DBT therapy and DBT skills groups.
